Sometimes the tile does not want to move. The GRABO IMPACT PLATE is a thick, impact-resistant metal bracket that mounts to the four anchor points on your tool and gives you something safe to hit. Stuck tile, bedded stone and pavers set in thinset, glue or cement usually need a shock to break loose. Without a shield that means striking the suction gripper itself and destroying it. With one, you hammer the plate, the material breaks free, and the vacuum lifter takes the blow instead of the housing. A cheap accessory that protects an expensive vacuum gripster, on exactly the jobs where you are most likely to need one. Demolition and tear-out are the fastest way to kill a gripper, and this is the plate that keeps the gripster out of the firing line.
